Dear Weymouth Township Elementary School Families and Community,
My name is Brenda Callaghan, and I am honored to serve as the new Superintendent of Schoois and Principal of the Weymouth Township School District beginning November 1st. I am truly excited to begin this journey together and to partner with you in creating the very best experiences for our students.
I have deep roots in the Atlantic County community and have a long-standing commitment to its success, having served as both an educator and school administrator in this county for the past 21 years. I've already had the privilege of meeting many of you at recent Board of Education meetings and Back to School Night, where I witnessed firsthand the pride, dedication, and sense of community that make Weymouth such a special place.
During my first few months, my primary goal will be to listen, learn, and build relationshipswith students, families, staff, and community partners. I believe the heart of every great school system lies in its people, and I look forward to hearing your perspectives, ideas, and hopes for the future of our schools. Relationships are built on mutual respect, open communication, and a shared commitment to doing what's best for our children. True success is measured not only by academic achievement, but by the joy of learning. Our schools should be places where curiosity is sparked and every child feels safe, inspired, and excited to learn. Essential to this is a strong partnership between home and school. When we trust one another and the educational process, we create a community where our children thrive-academically, socially, and emotionally.
I look forward to seeing many of you at school and community events in the weeks, months, and years ahead. Together, we will shape the next chapter for the Weymouth Township School District-one filled with growth, connection, and joyful learning.
